hi guys,i will go to tokyo in november(5hb-9hb)..so these are my question:

-any cheap hotel between akihabara,akasaka,shinjuku or any place near to central city (budget around rm300 per night for double or twin) give me the link
-i will arrive at tokyo around 11.30pm and its quite late,so any transportation available at midnite?   <<< Do your own homework
-if not,how the rate of taxi?   << Do your own homework
-any halal place to eat?   << Do your own homework
-where the best place to shop especially for figures and toys?   <<< do your own homework  (come on this is oblivious so so so easy to find)
-recommend interesting place to go (already decided disneyland and disneysea)   << do your own homework

and regarding the visa application,i heard i need about 6k in my bank account,im a student and my parents will transfer the money to my account..the thing is,my brother also a student,so can i just rotate the money? means that after i completed my visa application and with the bank statement,i transfer the money to my brother account for him to applied visa also..can?

im sorry for many question because this is my first time i travel to japan with my friends,so need a little bit advise..

p/s: im thinking to bring 2k for hotel,transportation,ticket dsneyland and disney sea and food..is it enough? and for backup,my parents provide me with their credit card..

1 quick question here - how long does it normally take to clear custom in Haneda? I won't be waiting for luggage as I'm not checking in any. Trying to see if i can make it for the 11:30pm train to asakusa if i arrive 10:30pm.

my flight to tokyo last month arrived punctually at 10.20pm. Since i sit quite at the back of the plane and only the front door of the plane was operational, i reached the terminal building much slower than the rest of the passenger. but to my surprise, the queue at the immigration was short. though the custom officer might take sometime to check throuhg your passport and take your picture, things seems to be smooth.

Hi alice, i also stayed at asakusa so i can give you some tips here. but not sure which part of asakusa you stay, as for me, i stay near minami senju, so it was safe for me to catch train from ueno to minamisenju. i reached my hotel at about 12.30am. so i would say it was still safe. from haneda, i took the keikyu line to shinagawa, then change to JR Yamanote line from shinagawa to Ueno. so ou need to check with your hotel the direction to your hotel then only you decide which line to take.

Very long trip.. Let me recall...If I'm not mistaken, I started departing Togebdai via the ropeway & cablecar to Gora !_ 3.30pm (Slow trip) and thereafter from Gora to Hakone Yamoto stn by 5pm direct to Shinjuku..by 6:45pm. I spent few hours in Shinjuku for dinner & shopping for my camera accessories (Cheaper than M'sia but not the camera. Just the accessories)

Haha, I'm also one knowing nuts about Japanese and yet still going there.. I only know Sayonara, Arigato and Kimochi only haha..and now Kudasai..(Horse shit?  )

Not to worry-lah.. Most hotel staff can speak English, Lotsa Akibahara shop assistance (Infact atleast few in a store can speak Chinese, English And to my surprise one of Akihabara IT shop staff can even speak Malay and can identify me from Malaysia!!    Most MRT station also in English or Chinese...ehhh more like Japanese Kanji but same meaning although pronounce differently in Japanese haha (Except few such as 大門  Diamon or big gate, also pronounce as Da-men in Chinese (Similar new project in USJ1 haha)

The only problem you will face is those restaurant staff and those MRT staff - They dunno how to speak english nor understand english!! - Darm so frustrating..esp my experience Yesterday at Hatchimatcho stn to take Monorail to haneda. I wanted to get my refund of my PASMO card and since that Monorail is under JR line or SUICA, I asked them whether I can get refund there.. darm..he answer me..yeh-yeh..plasmo can-can..So when I ask again I wanted refund..He keeps on repeating Pasmo can-can & showing me to the gate to the stn when I just wanna redund..darn.. damn susah..I hv to walked to Daimon stn  大門..To get my refund..Haizzzz..
