The Toyota Hiace SLWB measures 5,915 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width, and 2,280 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,860 mm.
2024 Toyota Hiace SLWB

As its name suggests, the new Hiace features an extended wheelbase of 3,860 mm, providing a generous interior space for both passengers and cargo, ideal for long-distance travel.

Furthermore, it exceeds its predecessor in other dimensions as well, measuring 5,915 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width, and 2,280 mm in height, representing a significant increase of 1,220 mm in length, 255 mm in width, and 300 mm in height.



The van is powered by a 2.8-litre 1GD-FTV turbo-diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 177 PS at 3,400 rpm and a peak torque of 450 Nm between 1,600 to 2,400 rpm.


The power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed *******automatic transmission ******* mated to the Sequential Shift system.

As i check Hiace is much more expensive now. I think the provide 3.0 diesel only soon

business utilize the van to make money.. manual is cheaper by the vehicle price, cheap to maintain, fuel economy.. they wont want to offer luxury car for their staff to enjoy their life also.. but i am stating majority la..

Costlier mah,also good for users la ,lasting gbox for heavy goods load

commercial use van operate under high load and long hours with frequent stops ... will AT/CVT tahan from overheating in hot weather ?
