Isn't alcohol in F&B vs fragrance totally different? 1 is potentially consumed for intoxication (absolutelyharam.jpg), other is not for intoxication.
Seen either you or some other ktard explain on /k several times before. Especially in hand sanitiser context during MCO.
Side question: Is beer/alcohol on skin also not permissible? Eg. cleaning spilled mess, handling alcohol products
the context of tered is trade labelling, not religious allowance.Seen either you or some other ktard explain on /k several times before. Especially in hand sanitiser context during MCO.

i was asking based on context.
it was presented of such and such rule exists, so i asked if such and such restriction is limited to packaging of certain items, or all items, and if is also applicable to [hang poster on premise].

but for religious allowance, what i can remember off head;
i) any alcohol that is poisonous, is haram to consume. use as intended is allowed, subject to ....
ii) .... any alcohol derived directly for or as byproduct of making alcoholic intoxicants is haram, regardless what the alcohol ended up being used in or for.

filth are divided into 3 categories.
alcohol falls in the middle.
just wash clean using water is enough.
on fragrance;
i think previously, without mass knowledge that many types of alcohol exists, we avoided altogether.
now with modern knowledge, we still don't know which alcohol and where it came from. it's not like manufacturers label explicit on their product.
