Hi kaiserreich,

Thanks for your kind interested in SUNIX I/O Card,

ECSA24J = eSATA ExpressCard with 34mm wide

ECSA24 = eSATA ExpressCard with 54mm wide

Basically, the major differences between ECSA24j and ECSA24, ECSA24 are wider than ECSA24J. Notebook with Expresscard slot 54mm are the earlier design of ExpressCard slot. Nowadays, latest notebook usually come with 34mm Express slot. However, notebook with 54mm ExpressCard slot are still compatible to use with 34mm ExpressCardbus.

Sorry to tell you that ECSA24 is not available at the moment, ECSA24J is the solution for your requirement of eSATA.

Kindly check your PM for Pricing.

Thanks..

Hi Skyline,

Pls note that PCMCIA are meant for old notebook which have wider slot compare with ExpressCard. Both are totally different slot and technology.

Pls comfirm which type of slots is available on your notebook before decide go for any PCMCIA or ExpressCard option.

CBSA20I & CBSA20 both are using different chipset, overall PCMCIA cardbus with Silicon chipset will have slightly better in performance.
Thanks..
