I also noticed the big price differences between online and physical furniture stores. I ended up ordering my sofa online from a shop that offers affordable modern furniture. I got an L-shape sofa for around RM500, which was much cheaper than the RM1500 ones I saw in stores. The quality was surprisingly good for the price, and the delivery took about a week. One thing to consider with online shopping, though, is that the materials might be different. Sofas on Shopee may use cheaper fabrics or simpler frames, which explains the lower prices. But if you're okay with that, it can be a great deal. Just make sure to check reviews and details on the product before buying. This post has been edited by yslaw: Sep 13 2024, 06:59 PM

QUOTE(netflix2019 @ Apr 29 2024, 04:49 PM) Buy a good one la. Sofa not easy to replace and it's actually one of the most important furniture in ur house. Make big impression on guest, you also will spend significant amount of time sitting on it also. One thing i most beh tahan when stay AirBNB is they always buy cheap ass sofa. super not nice to sit. can feel the supporting beam/join whatever u call it. My own sofa set RM5000+ for 2+2+1 i am using for close to 20 years liao still kuat no sink. The difference with cheapass one is like day and night. My only regret is no buy extra cover to swap around when i wash. 5000 20 years ago is a lot of money
