hi guys, currently i am looking everywhere to buy sofa for my new home. I try to look for sofa in shopee but wondering how come the price in shopee is far cheaper than outside? For an example: L-Shape Sofa in shopee only cost around RM300 but outside furniture shop selling around RM1400?

300 one is pakai ply wood , shit quality one la . Like those furniture shop 1k package can can alot of furniture quality crappy one .

For sofa, u may opt for heesz. Not great, but not bad either. I bought it for my rented condo. looks nice, price ok. Showroom at Aurora Bukit Jalil. U can singgah and feel the sofa yourself

and i kid you not when i say rm300 on lazada shopee one will break in half after a while. mau kongkek on sofa also scared. it's that flimsy.

I bought mine around 3.2k, 3 seater, not L but the seats can extend out.

Buy a good one la. Sofa not easy to replace and it's actually one of the most important furniture in ur house. Make big impression on guest, you also will spend significant amount of time sitting on it also.

One thing i most beh tahan when stay AirBNB is they always buy cheap ass sofa. super not nice to sit. can feel the supporting beam/join whatever u call it. My own sofa set RM5000+ for 2+2+1 i am using for close to 20 years liao still kuat no sink. The difference with cheapass one is like day and night. My only regret is no buy extra cover to swap around when i wash.

You may want to have a second thought about getting a L-shape sofa. They used to be trendy but not so much now, partially due to impracticality and tendency to waste space.

Also don't buy sofa online without trying out first. Even if it's only few hundreds ringgit, if it's uncomfortable, it's a waste of money. You'll always be in dilemma on whether to get a new one later.

If you spend a lot of time watching tv, entertaining guests or relaxing on the sofa, it's worth investing in a better quality one. Visit different furniture stores to test out. A decent one can cost no more than 2-3k, make use of interest-free instalment if available.

Visit showrooms to feel the difference between cheap and expensive sofas. If possible, spend more on a good one especially when it is for your own buttock and family to sit on.

You pay for what you get. Don’t buy too expensive sofa. Waste money cos no point. So many ppl sit, if buy expensive and can last for years… don’t know how many germs multiplying inside. Reasonable like 3 k will do. Check out Nitori, not bad.

better go proper furniture shop and try out lar......sit on it, feel it before buying.....buy online from unknown shop 50/50, later arrive shitty quality you'll regret.
