Why Subaru XV never popular. It’s a Japanese brand but never caught on even though Subaru XV quite stylish.

Interior design feels cheap and outdated.

You know how people who own conti laugh at jap cars design, right? Their interior designs especially are horrendous and outdated.

5 reasons:

1. Boxer engine
2. Lineartronic CVT
3. A lot of people associate Subaru with blown head gaskets, although I think the XV doesn't have this issue
4. Tarak resale value
5. Not everybody needs AWD

Well I do think it looks nice, much nicer than XV of course. I think it's a decent car for its price, definitely felt the pressure of EV competition. If I were in a car hunting mode, I would have given this car a consideration.

I had driven XV a few times, I think it is a nice car if you can stand the horrendous interior lol
