how to extend headphone bluetooth range ?

hi friends,
i have a jabra bluetooth headset. but i cant go more than 5 meters from my laptop workstation. i suspect its the fridge beside my room is interfering. how do i increase the range a bit? i just need another 5 meter at least. thank you in advance.
