hi friends,

i have a jabra bluetooth headset.

but i cant go more than 5 meters from my laptop workstation. i suspect its the fridge beside my room is interfering.

how do i increase the range a bit? i just need another 5 meter at least.

thank you in advance.

check jabra app. should have option to disable hd.. then you can have wide range. 5 meters to low.

Wifi and cell network aka 4g or 5g will interfere with Bluetooth
You can try external USB Bluetooth adapter from creative, then use a long USB cable for it

Use a BT transmitter with an external antenna.

If still on BT 4.0, get a new headset with BT 5.0

Shorten the distance between you and the bluetooth transciver sweat.gif
or just get this

https://www.amazon.sg/ZIOCOM-Bluetooth-Tran...d0&gad_source=1

anyway most USB or lappy bluetooth antenna are weak, and pc with USB3 port nearby will make thing worse, just make sure there are nothing between you and the lappy, and iirc the bluetooth earbud only one act as bluetooth tranciver, then it will sync with the other one unless your bluethooth headphone have integrated antenna on the headband.
