Hey guys, latest update of my S23 Ultra.

I decided to go the service centre (Pandan Indah branch) to try my luck on requesting free screen replacement. Surprise surpirse. They do have free replacement campaign ongoing. However, it's not announced to the public. Don't call. You may not be able to get the correct answer on this. You have to pay a visit to the service centre to enquire. The staff don't know when is the dateline of the campaign though.

The procedure is quite simple. On Friday I left my phone on the spot, they sent it to the HQ and did diagnosis at there. Monday finished repaired and they called me to collect the phone. Brand new screen. They also reglued the back cover. Labor fee RM85 + SST.

Although I already jumpship to Honor, I am still glad to have my S23 Ultra back to pristine condition. Hopefully the vertical line won't happen again. And yes, I will never update my S23 Ultra software anymore.

This is partly panel issue. The round hole for the front camera has made the lcd too fragile. Thus slight drop will crack the lcd at the hole area there. Not same with the green line issue

All amoled are at high risk of saber light after 1+ year.
And all the flagship phones uses amoled. So basically we are paying premium price for this time ticking manufacturing design defect

I just send in my S22+ for the lightsaber screen replacements.

The staff check say should be able to get the free replacements, any how need to let them inspect first and will call me for further details.

No they didn't ask for any money, just say leave phone for them to inspect and will get back to me when can fix it.

For my case , because it detect my phone have a chip at the frame , he say might be cant claim but he promise will help me fight for the claim , should be 80% successful claim, the chip actually happen after the greenline due to drop by my kid , so i have to pay rm80 advance for it , in case if claim unsuccessful, either proceed to change new screen by add on rm400++ , or take back the phone with no refund rm80

Kira that rm80 for him to tear ur phone , taking picture , make sure no water damage and send report to samsung HQ
I dont think they provide this kind of service

But thx god because i successfully claim the screen , just took the phone back without any extra fees, so ended up just pay for the rm80

It take me 7 day to done all the process until collect the phone, for my case,  they will enter maintenance profile mode

Before u want to send for inspection , they already check ur IMEI and make sure its SME set only proceed the process ,if ur set is korea , for sure they dont accept
