Is the OKU parking for OKU ppl who drive, or if OKU that is being assisted by others, can we park there?

OKU parking are for OKU drivers.
Officially thats the narrative.
Not for OKU passengers.
But as human beings we can be considerate.

that time my kid was still a baby. went to baby room. locked. waited for a while.

OKU parking spots are only for vehicles that have the OKU sticker. All other vehicles can kena saman. I found that out years ago the hard way as a volunteer driver for some physically-challenged people who had problems getting transport from their kampung to supermarket. What to do... I paid the saman the next day. Lesson learned.

No idea about OKU database. I did inquire if it was possible for a NON-OKU person to apply for such credentials, but was told unless the vehicle and person was registered to a society specifically dealing with OKU, no leeway would be given. Maybe the rules have changed since then, I dunno.

If u didn't know it was wrong and I didn't kena saman, Yes i would have probably kept on parking there and unloading wheelchairs, crutches etc. But since then I DO know it's wrong and have never done it again.

If wheel chair bound you need the extra space to load unload the OkU on to the wheel chair that's already setup
