So with the removal of Kurama, Naruto loses the status as Jinchuruki but does not die from the loss of the status; Therefore the next Jinchuruki is now passed to Himawari as the next choice as she does possess the bloodline of Naruto (which then comes from Hashirama - Uzumaki lineage) and therefore has the innate ability to control tailed beasts. This is subsequently reinforced with the presence of Byakugan.
