WhatsApp Not Pushing Notifications

happened to my mom's WhatsApp earlier last week. somehow messages only gets pushed through if she opens the application otherwise it stays silent and from the sender side, it shows "one gray tick" until she opens the application then it becomes "two gray ticks". what gives? she is on iOS 17. WhatsApp has been functioning properly for her and this issue only arises lately. what gives? she is on iOS 17. |

An update on the situation.
I tried a fresh installation and it works normally for like 5 or 6 minutes and then after that, the same problem creeps up. I have checked all my notification settings and they are all turned on. What is going on =/ |
