De facto relationships are given the same weightage in countries such as Australia and New Zealand, and similarly in Singapore - although not equivalent to marriage, the Women's Charter ensures that the woman will not be any worse off should a de facto relationship sours.

QUOTE(kesvani @ Jun 18 2024, 11:43 PM) Is this proven. Does this also apply to foreigner relationship? If you (assuming you’re Malaysian male) put your name on the birth certificate for the child, the child can be a Malaysian citizen yes.

QUOTE(hightechgadgets8 @ Jun 19 2024, 10:55 AM) if you dont have a legal marriage cert, most likely the child will follow the citizenship of the mother, not sure the latest rules [malaysian father] are in place or not not really, without a legal marriage cert, the child follows the mother's [foreigner] citizenship, BUT, there new laws that states that child can be malaysian is father is malaysian Oh? Thank you for the clarification.

QUOTE(kesvani @ Jun 28 2024, 01:44 AM) Just create a will or better if not mistaken with Amanah Raya if your will have specific requets. I plan to nominate Amanah Raya for my EPF Amanah Raya? That’s like a public trustee, isn’t it? I thought you were going to get your sister to administer your will?

Also i will inform my sister about my will with Amanah Raya to prevent dispute. As we never know future what will happen. What if we both gone together Good luck again, bro!
