Resigned, find a full remote work then work from anywhere liao.
Got paycut but it was a worthy trade-off.

It's true. The traffic are the most draining point for me.

I was at Penang and JB for the past few years and i went back residing at KL last month.
The jam here are the fucking exhausted me.

15mins(8km) distance you need to ready 1hour gap for the car commuting.

Remote place can be very boring. Better stay in KL, or other bigger cities.

Because you are not used to embrace the boredom in your life.

Your brain always want to keep stimulated and crave for entertainment.

People that live in village, they already used to embrace the boredom. They can live without shopping mall, viral eating places and other stuffs. They find other kinds of entertainment to entertain themselves.

My commute inclusive of dropping of kids and picking them up is about 1-1/2 hour one way. Some days coming back takes 2. But my wife is 5 mins away from home so as long as one of us dont spend too much time comuting i'm fine. Also jams arent that bad when you have your kids in the car. You can spend time catching up

Soon all my kids will be in primary school which is walking distance so i can reduce my journey to under an hour since i dont need to drop off and pick up from taska.

You have a point brader. But the brain wants what it wants. Maybe as I age I will move to smaller towns.

I used to commute with car to work. It was hell tiring. 9km journey takes me an hour. I was mentally drained and stressed out. When my FIL handed one of his motorcycle to us, I switched back to riding to work.

I have been riding for about 10 months now (work commute only) and it was absolutely alleviating my stress.

I've now switched jobs to somewhere closer to home but the commute would take me 45 minutes for a 6km journey. I continued riding and it only took me 10 minutes or less.

I am here thinking, why don't more people ride motorcycle like how it is in Jakarta and Thailand for work commute, it is genuinely less stressful.

maybe once she has reached the retirement age, she could possibly change her mind.. dont give up..

women in 20s - 30s still enjoy exploring the city for foods, chill bars and shopping.. sure one day they will be tired of these 🤣

I never like city life to be honest.

Last time, I do like going to city. Going to shopping mall etc.

But as I'm getting older, I watch a lot of Minimalism videos, I don't feel like purchase anything that I don't need. I already change my mindset when it comes adding stuffs to my home.

Dah jarang turun KL eventhough I live in Selangor. There's everything I need at here.
