Worse is non-Muslim leaders kononnya speaking up for non-Muslims and telling Muslims to chill. This one I cannot.
It’s like a Muslim company printing Buddha or Jesus face on a carpet, and then Muslim leaders tell Buddhists Christians to chill 🤯 You see how oxymoronic that is?
I agree with you that KK should 100% be more careful and be sensitive towards Muslims (and all religions for that matter), especially when your largest market are from that particular demographic. This is very bad business protocol. Finding such socks in your inventory is pretty bad.
However, my stand is that there is still much confusion as to who the culprits are. Let PDRM investigate. once the investigation is completed, and should the situation escalate into a criminal suit, then we should also look at the evidence tendered, submissions from the prosecution and defence, and draw our conclusions from findings of the court.
In the interim, I think we should all reserve our comments. This applies to both sides (boycotters and penyokong alike). Stop saying things that will cause racial tension and friction.
This being said, I'm also a supporter of free market practice. If you think that boycotting is the best decision for you, after taking into consideration, factors such as your beliefs, opinions, price, and etc, go ahead and boycott. There are other options anyway (some may be better, some may be worse, so do your due diligence).
On the other side, for those who think that you don't want to boycott, by all means, continue your support.
Let's stop insulting each other's race, religion, beliefs and opinions just because of a couple pair of socks.
Also, politicians, please fucking behave yourselves. Especially those from the "unity" government.
