hmm, been using zune 1g 30gb for quite some time..overall i'm very satisfied

but i'm going to sell it now, trying out new gears. anybody interested?

lol, i'm not thet serious with portable hi-fi gear..still trying to juice out the best out of ipod
i own zune 1G 30gb, ipod video, ipod photo, ipod nano 1g(ex). to me zune 1G definitely better sounding both from headphone out or through the LOD(yeah, i have the zune LOD as well )

through the LOD, using the same cable, same amp, same cans (pure solid copper mini-mini + iqube + phonak), details, soundstage, smoothness, and treble is better than normal ipod + LOD..

but once the ipod has been modded, ipod outperforms zune 1G. but well, for the price given, i think zune 1g is the best bang for buck

Also another question. how come LOD is better than using the headphone output?

LOD bypasses internal amplifier and route it directly to your external amplifier. so it's basically replacing your internal amp with a better one, hence the sound quality improved.

buy zune, you get awesome sounding both from headphone out and line out. buy ipod, you get awesome sounding from lineout, crappy sounding from headphone out..but if you always use line out, and rarely use headphone out, ipod would be a better choice IMO

I mostly use the headphone output as I don't own a external amp....

i had all three gen of zunes, 30 80 n HD, now only 2 left, d 30 pecah skrin lol. its a great music player, plus 1 thing i really love d msot about it is its rareness. there r only 1/100000 zune users in malaysia? haha 10/10 outside n inside quality mad mad

Availability for Zune in Malaysia is scarce. I don't think they have official resellers based in Malaysia, none that I know of anyway.

It's a music player, I'm pretty sure the majority of people knows how to take care of it.

zune hd new unit selling really expensive right now. i bought my zune hd i think almost 3 years. still working perfectly. one of the best player.
