QUOTE(blacktubi @ Mar 15 2024, 05:23 PM) TS never look into total cost of ownership This is the real deal answer .You can service X50 3-4 times for every time you service a BMW. If you continue to use run flat tyres, 1 RFT tyre can easily buy 3 X50 tyres. Oh yea, it's a 2020 BMW so sooner or later you will need to change the wear and tear parts. Brake pads, suspension and etc. If you're unlucky, coolant line may leak. Basically on average you need to budget around 5-6k/year for a period of 5 years just on maintenance based on your 120km daily travel. Contrary to popular believes, newer BMWs are actually reliable. But the wear and tear parts arent's cheap. Just get Mazda with free maintenance. Others that commented to buy a used BMW just because it's a Beemer , well research more plz . |

QUOTE(chickenshit36 @ Mar 15 2024, 06:41 PM) Yes I have not noticed anything wrong with the car the whole time I have it. This is good video to understand both port and direct injection. What are the symptoms of the issue and how do you fix it? I service all in bermaz sc and they never once mention to clean it |

Mazda seems like a better option. I cannot accept uncomfortable seats (too straight and kinda hard) on BMW, be it 3 series or 5 series and also poor sales exp from BMW dealers are such as a turnoff, for that kinda money, I will go for Lexus/Volvo or sorry to say, Toyota comfort/service level is better IMO.

I actually went from Mazda 3 skyactiv to the new bmw 320i lci and the ride quality is so much better on the bmw.Better handling, more power, better nvh, and suspension wise even though many complain 3 series ride is hard, for me it’s better than the Mazda 3. Mazda 3 was harder. Is the price worth the upgrade? I’d say it’s law of diminishing returns. I paid 2x the price but the experience is maybe only 50% better more to me. As for dealer wise, go for quill automobiles. Best service. My wife bought the 218 from there and I loved the service, and when the time came for me to upgrade I went back to the same SA from there again. Servicing also went once to quill service center. No hassle. In comparison, bermaz pj has service as good as well imo. Been there since 2010. Problem was there’s way more people so the wait times are longer. I heard lots of good things about g20 and g30 from my friends but I don't really have much luck with them since f30 time, sometimes its the dealer, sometimes its the car itself Better handling, more power, better nvh, and suspension wise even though many complain 3 series ride is hard, for me it’s better than the Mazda 3.
