It's not advisable to break the 1 year sequence but if your company appoint a good attorney, might be ok. The time spent in USA is not counted

I relocated to US for two years under H1B before, and my company engaged with a relocation agency, Sirva if not mistaken. That company will help to prepare all documents for the visa application, and provide guidances on do and don't for visa interview.

My company covered all my expenses except petrol and meals. Living cost in Silicon Valley is not cheap. In recent Feb visit, noticed around 30% inflation compared to pre covid.

Good luck bro.

Oh you just go there for 2 years and comeback? You're a good employee because you didn't find any job while you were there. haha.
Because H1B holder can just simply find other job there right?

Like I told you, it is best to get clarification from the attorney before you're going there for business purpose.

The manager want to extend me but I declined. No knowledge on whether can find job or not under H1B.

It's almost 1 year since I'm working in Penang and I'm going to follow up regarding my visa application process.

Before I ask my US immigration attorney (Fragomen) or my boss I'm trying to understand the requirement stated on uscis website which state for me to qualify the L visa,

"Generally have been working for a qualifying organization abroad for one continuous year within the three years immediately preceding his or her admission to the United States; and"

I need to work continous 1 year or can staggered within the recent 3 years? Or I work 1 year then quit but I still can apply the visa within 3 years I quit?

This part yes.
Also your case wont be reviewed per say by USCIS but rather the consular officers at the KL embassy. In my experience theyre pretty chill when dealing with L/H cases.

My company uses Fragomen as well. So you'll give them all the required documents and they'll send you a whole petition folder with all the relevant documents for you to bring to the embassy in KL.
It's all labeled and ready to submit. Bring it during your interview and just answer what ever questions.
