The news about Penryn chips is very tempting. Now that we are all using 65nm type, which produce lots of heat if compared to the speculated 45nm type, which is Penryn, which uses different type of technology that makes the electric stays at the right place and reduce the unnecessary heat.

45nm is coming out next year. but i think it will take a while for Apple to include it in their machine. and it will take a while before they are satisfied with testing it with Macbook. 35nm is coming out around next year too. which is even smaller and better.

My point is, buy if you want. Dont wait, Macbook pro line is among the best already. I doubt you only want to keep abreast with technology? because the technology improve as the clock tick. unlike other brand, Mac can at least stay fresh and up to date for as much as 5 years. and people wont say your mac is outdate.

5 years is like 1825 days, divide it with RM 4999. That will be around RM3 per day for 5 years time. Sounds like a good deal for me. Even if i go to cafe everyday, i would spend more than that. (of course i dont, anymore)

Just pray it wont spoil. biggrin.gif

ow my bad, i didnt really read the poster's post correectly. Yea you are right. with installment that add on about 3%, it will end up 8000+. i am just so so sorry.

Because i read the previous and previous posters, they only mention macbook and macbook and kinda messed up with other posts.

i got mine at 8000+ too.

The Rm7499 is for promotion when the second generation mbp about to come out. now the standard price would be 7799. i supposed.
