QUOTE(JoeYoung @ Feb 28 2024, 02:54 PM) ![]() Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth Launches on the PlayStation 5 at midnight CET on the 29th of February 2024 with the launch being staggered across different time zones that will see some users getting 'earlier' access to the title due to them being slightly behind in terms of local time |

jp and asia physical version cd confirmed to have labelling error
play disc is data disc and data disc is play disc hahahaha kek and my game is on the way.. Japan's Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Physical Release Accidently Swapped Disc Labels It is currently unknown if the error was duplicated in the West. According to the official Japanese Final Fantasy 7 Remake Twitter/X account (via VGC), the error was "due to a defect in the manufacturing process at Sony Interactive Entertainment." The physical release of Rebirth includes two discs: a "data disc" for installation, and a "play disc" for well... playing. In this initial printing, the data disc is labelled as the play disc and vice versa. Meaning, if you own a Japanese copy of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you'll need to put in the disc labeled "play" to install and the disc labeled "data" to play. |
