XV CVT fluid change will kill you.

Subaru CVT consider the most reliable, until today no heard of any belt putus as they are using metal chain compare to belt.
The only concern is the CVT fluid, need to change per original spec. (lineartronic CVTF-II) and in time. Latest Xv batch already less heard of CVT issues compare to those early batch as some aftermarket oil brand not compatible previously, the most is just the body valve and a lot of solenoid/body valve options (half-cut/recon) already available now in market.
