Got some cheap Realme phones/tablets that family is using. Didn't expect much but they work very well, no lag, no battery issues, no real problems at all for 3-4 years already. Unlike Xiaomi.

Still gave to turn off settings for ads/recommendations for Malaysian models. And once ads did pop out for settings app but it got fixed quickly, not sure how because the phone already eol.

First, it was one realme phone which gave the problem. The ads came out from just starting the settings app (not default browser or other stock apps) and wouldn't go away and made the phone unusable. It was bad but problem went away by itself in 2 days or so and never had another problem again.
