Hey, I just got about to translating my documents into english for some uni applications. I'm a little stumped with what SPM is usually referred to in english tho...is it Malaysian Certificate of Education?

Ask your parents.... before SPM they used to have an English name for every major exam because we were under British education.

since we are a commonwealth country, you can refer to it as an o-lvl qualification.

it was called Senior Cambridge, then School Certificate, then Malaysianised and called Malaysian Certificate of Education (MCE) after independance, before the final spm on conversion to the malay medium. The original Senior Cambridge School Certificate has since then morphed into the GCSE, or common known as "o" levels.........
