I have bought the latest S580E in October 2022 and this model totally changed my impression of Mercedes Benz from excellent services to extremely BAD experiences!
In September 2023, I was driven my car back to Penang from Kuala Lumpur. The car's display kept showing that the armatic in front was abnormal and asked me to stop in the middle of highway (before Ipoh R&R).
For safety concern, I stopped to check and also called the service center to understand what was going on. They requested me stop driving if possible, and I told him I was on the highway and it was 9PM. Service center told me to drive back slowly. I reached home safely on that night with sent my car to service center for repair on the following day.
I received the call from service centre after few days and feedback to me that there is lacking of spare part and they need to take the necessary actions to ship from oversea to Malaysia, this process took more than a month.
I was being tolerate and provide sufficient patience for this process and i received another call from service centre again after the replacement armatic part done with another issue pop out ( the wire system in the steering loosen, and compulsory to change another wiring). But i am having early planned trip with my kids to KL and cant wait for this, so they decided to returned my car to me to use for few days, and collected back after from me after i back from the trip with my kids.
After I reached home from my trip and took a shower, I was going to have dinner with my children, but I found that the car could not be driven. After trying it few times, the car unable to start. Less than 10 minutes after I left, the monitor in the middle automatically restarted twice.
The next day they came to take the car back to inspect and replace the steering wheel wires. Also checked my complaint and the results told me when they up date my software. Even their computers are broken. A few days later, I was notified that I needed to wait for instructions from merdeces benz malaysia (MBM). A few days ago, I was told that the car's control panel needed to be replaced and that it needed to come from Germany. . . Have to wait until next January. . . OMG. . . S580e, the latest model. . .
In the past few days, I have been watching the managers and bosses of asbenz and the representatives of MBM with OSCARS PERFORMANCE by pushing away the responsibilities.The day before yesterday, I don’t know if it was their conscience that discovered it. He said he would give me a car to use first and then he would drive an E200 to my house. They took a letter and asked me to sign it. There was a line in it saying that I was responsible for the car. Also say that I agree that no legal proceedings can be taken against them in the future. . .
