Hi friends, I plan to seek doctor advice and take birth control pills. Anyone knows what is the procedure usually? Can I just go to pharmacy and they will advice or have to go to a specialised women clinic?

some pharmacy will sell it to you if you walk in to ask for recommendation. but the correct way to do it is go to a clinic if possible an o&g clinic to ask for consultation. there are some criterias that the prescribers need to look into before prescribing you bcps.

go to your regular gynae? sure got..

BCP not only used for birth control, it also use to stop menstruation to prevent certain cyst growths..

if you have started on checkups, best to consult a gynae first...
start early.. especially since u plan to be sexually active..
