Hello peeps,

Advice me on Proton S70 or Camry hybrid 2017, pros and cons, looking to upgrade or buy another car for family.

Thank you

#1, I go and book s70 fx without test drive then bank took forever to approve loan as my work nature is on off.

#2. Going for suv/mpv and proly cancel s70 loan since off to work again.

Camry Hybrid - If Battery already changed, A/C pump already service/changed, Steering Rack already changed.
Maybe can consider, if not prepare another RM10~15k to repair if no more warranty.

Would be better to get a Mark-X even better.

wanted to say d-seg camry parts will be expensive but doubt s70 parts will be any cheaper also.

one thing to note about the camry is 2.5L road tax loh and the hybrid battery.

camry wheelbase longer so probably means longer legroom for family.

all in all, i prefer camry to s70 as well.

Afraid of new proton, since x70 came out seems like lots of issue, but then a 7 years hybrid isn't much to say.

Leaning toward camry, since I like hybrid but the aging battery as people say kinda worry me.

Honestly, didn't know. But used to heard lots of battery issue, and cost a lot.

And wife bias toward new car, saying better tech, and warranty wise.

Maybe will see the S70 then make up mind.

Also take note you are comparing a B segment vs a D segment, vast of a difference.
