Tiggo 8 please if compare Alphard 2.5 which using CVT gb. Unless u take Alphard/Velfire with 3.5V6 then different story. Tiggo 8 hp and torque are similar to Merz C300

this calls out for those oil-seal, atf-seal, O-ring seal which all are already worn out and create oil consumption issues. repair those with new sure good already

for VW, look at the major service quotation, already in the website VW malaysia. 60k km and 120k km. For me at that services price, its a major turn off.

So I heard n just learned that CVT for new 2.5
Alphard , unless always go up down genting else hopefully it can last at least 10 years , I am surprised Toyota choose Cvt for such a heavy car

Already test drive alphard 2.5 , power is good, very bouncy n swaying for the driver, need to modify the suspension to make it solid

Middle pilot seat is Damn comfy

Space of course it’s better then tiggo 8 because it’s a lot bigger

Very attractive because it comes with 5 years warranty even it’s recond car

Else why Japan dump so many Alphard here in Malaysia?

because Japanese model all cheapskate, take shorter route to get car with better FC = put CVT gb. Last longer, generally it last shorter than conventional Auto GB with proper Gear. The 3.5V6 use 6 gear auto normal torque converter

If got money definitely alphard

How about those recond Toyota Voxy and Honda Stepwagon? I know it is affordable in Japan, but coming here as recond, seller sold it at rm150k amaze me. Consider small engine with turbo and CVT. Saw quite a number on the road

Not really 7 seater, more like 6 seater because 2nd row only have 2 seat belt, but can accommodate 3 person

stepwgn 150k and above, voxy n noah can get below 150k, these cars are like the choices below alphard vellfire, i would say they are decent 7 seaters, they are sized larger than basic mpv like alza and arus, but smaller than alphard vellfire. They drive pretty decent and higher spec does comes with auto door as well
