I ended up getting H+P. Have really been utilizing the two additional functions that I wanted the most, the ALH & 360 camera. Really helpful especially in tight areas. And the ALH, I am really amazed with it especially when driving in dark area with moderate traffic.

The price of CX30 H+P is almost similar to CX5 2.0G High. I wonder what makes CX30 more attractive than the bigger CX5? Share share pls.
I'm current considering Toyota Corolla Cross and Mazda CX30 or CX5.

CX5 2.0 is underpowered. Personally for me the minimum engine you need for CX5 is the 2.5

Pros of CX30 vs CX5
- latest interior and exterior design
- latest HU software and design (CX5 could've got this in the facelift but for some reasons Bermaz exclude it)
- better designed front seats
- HUD (you need to get CX5 2.5T for it)
- 2.0 engine is just nice for the size
- the 360 camera in CX30 H+ P is much clearer than the 360 cam in CX5
- CX30 H+ P gets ALH and FCTA (not available on CX5 iinm)
- handles better than CX5

Pros of CX5 vs CX30
- more practical
- more comfortable and quieter due to double glazed windows and softer suspension tuning + rear independent suspension
- cooled front seats (CX5 2.5 above)
- rear seats are more comfortable
- more engine choices

in short if you are looking for a family car the CX5 is better. if you are single, just married without kids, or have no use / seldom use for the rear seats, then CX30 can be considered

Thanks for the good and informative feedback. I'm only comparing Toyota Cross, CX30 and CX5 2.0G only. I think CX5 2.5 is way above my budget.
Too bad that for CX30 only the H+P get 360 camera whereas Toyota Cross available in all variant.
Really difficult to consider for people with limit budget like me.

Thank you all for your valuable feedback. I wish the Toyota Corolla Cross thread is as good but it's really quiet.
