Hi, we will have 2 years of defect liability period after gotten the key from developer.

I would like to ask what would be the usual sequence of things below without affect the developer not responsible to any defects discover during the defect liability period for a condo/service apartment:

1. partition a small room as a store room
2. Install lights, air cond, water heater
3. Checking any water leakage to the floor below (will you do this??)
4. Checking wall (cracks, water damage, discolor), tiles (hollow sound), water blocking for all water pipes in kitchen & toilets, miscellaneous (any dent, cracks, gaps/misalignment on he doors, windows, rails, dried cement
5. Existence of the items promised by the developer
6. Moving in furniture, install curtain

Any other things I need to pay attention or check during the defect liability period? TIA.

Check glass mirrors for scratches.

The leakage problem is important to diagnose early as its costly to fix. Also vacuum/dig out all the stones from the floor drains.

Mini shrinkage cracks are ok. Easy fix with putty.

Bring along a small table lamp to check wiring is connected for the sockets. Don't risk using a phone charger. Mistakes can happen and 415V was supplied and boomz your phone. Boomz a bulb is not a problem.

Also see if you wanna change the sockets out to double sockets and/or add more power sockets.
