Guys, if my car engine is 1.3cc (manual) while my tyre is 13-inch. If I plan to increase my tyre size to 14 or 15 inch:

1. Does car engine capacity correspond to the ideal size of tyre? (For example, car with engine 1.3cc best suit for 13- and 14-inch tyre. 15-inch tyre is good but not the ideal level.)
2. What is ideal size of tyre for a car with 1.3cc engine? 14-inch or 15-inch?
3. What is the ideal selection for particular car tyre size? For example, 185/60R14 or 185/55R15.

1.3cc is Tamiya category.
1.3L should use 13"

Why you want big wheels? Nobody is gonna be impressed by your B segment junk even if it had 18" wheels.

Stick with 13 for better acceleration and comfort.

1.3cc is very very small btw, I don't think you mean that

Depends on ori tyre profile

Have a play, it will tell u roughly what's the effect of sizing up in diameter/width: https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/

Don't go all crazy on width though, long ago i did 175/R13 -> 195/R15 and the tramlining effect were pretty obvious

bigger tyre means heavier weight to your car and increase in braking distance. your fuel efficiency will drop, your engine have to work harder.

overall rim+ tire diameter is the more critical part. if you put 17" rim but tire only 1/2" thick not that much of an effect except on your wallet

tread width as well. wider tire more resistance and grip

Like other mentions, bigger wheels effect your fuel consumption as the wheels is heavier.

Plus the speedometer also less accurate depending on your tyre profile.

Doesn't matter the engine size, the bigger/heavier ur wheels are the more fuel consumption, and poorer acceleration. Ur engine can take it, just take more time to start moving, like a lorry.

This is why in car modification for drag racing, wheels weight is the most important, secondly vehicle weight. Conversion of engine power loss the most at the wheels part.

1.3 L(itres) la TS, not 1.3cc.

Cc stands for cubic centimetre. 1cc=1ml.

1.3cc is less than the covid vaccine you get.

U wanna play safe, go up 1" in diameter n width.

Let say ur stock wheel size is 175/60/r13x5.5jj.
New wheel u go for 185/55/r14x6.5jj or 6jj.
Or if u eager to go for 15" rims, go for 185/55/r15 tyre.
Look for lightweight rims.

U see why most new cars wheel size now a day usually big in diameter but smaller on width, cos less friction.
But still depends on rims weight oso. Even u use small size rim but it heavy, oso will affect ur fuel consumption.

Rims offset, choose the one tat nicely in line wif ur car fender then naize looking.

Correspond? No

But to maintain efficient engine & other aspects of vehicle, there is an ideal range to increase wheel size.

Remember, you can still attempt to stay within same overall diameter with lower profile tires.

Usually 1" up size wont have any noticable difference, esp if width is not huge.

All of my 8cars running larger size. Largest difference was 15 to 18, but that was 6cylinder 2.5L engine.

1. There is no correlation between engine and tyre size. The only correlation available is didi size to tyre size.
2. If didi 7inci, then 13inci tyre should suffice. If 2 inch didi, then get a 18 inch tyre.
