Got 3 post/12 hours limit, gotta condense things a bit here.

What's the new magic number for maximum now? Since it's 3.3% for special jars
Confused now because of 365 days
Anyway happy new year to everyone
So now we know the 2nd January 2025 ending period for the previous promo is nonsense. They can change the rate and ending period as they like. The T&C is designed to protect their interest, not yours and mine
New magic numbers (for the next 6 months... Now they say the 3.3% special rate will last for 6 months, let's see...):
2.5% DSA: Minimum 0.005*365/0.025 = 73, at increment of 0.01*365/0.025 = 146 for every extra cent of interest (no max limit ***, 50k daily transfer limit cap)
3.2% normal saving jar: Minimum 0.005*365/0.032 = 57.04, at increment of 0.01*365/0.032 = 114.07 for every extra cent of interest (max limit is 1 million, but to earn interest, max needed is just 57.04 + 114.07 * 153 = 995,502.58 per jar, uhmmm let's push it further, since we will get 995,502.58 * 0.032/365 = 87.28 per day at this juncture, might as well target 87.2
75 per day right? Hence, the maximum principal to put in is 87.275*365/0.032 =
995,480.47)
3.3% special saving jar: Minimum 0.005*365/0.033 = 55.31, at increment of 0.01*365/0.033 = 110.61 for every extra cent of interest (max 25k for all jars excluding CelcomDigit jar's 50k. For 25k max limit case, max principal needed is 55.31 + 110.61 * 225 = 24,942.56. Let's do it again, we will earn 24,942.56*0.033/365 = 2.26 interest per day per special jar. We apply round-up trick one more time: max principal to put in = 2.255 * 365 / 0.033 =
24,941.67. I will leave it as an exercise for you to show that for the 50k CelcomDigi jar, if you are eligible, the max principal to put is
49938.64.
*** after credit transfer verification, max across all balance including saving jars: RM 100,000,000, see myboostbank.co/terms-and-conditions section C, item 3)
Feel free to correct me if any of the figures above are wrong.

I just read “Member of PIDM > List of insured products” on app main page, Digital Savings Account is the only product on list.
Does it mean these savings jar and special jar not protect by PIDM?
Last year, our friend asked if PIDM covers saving jars as well. I dug in to the T&C walls of text and found this:

Saw this in Boost app. BoostMyMoney. 3.79% pa. What you guys think?

Beware of their ridiculous marketing. 3.79 % is earnings rate, you need to minus Management Fees (-) 0.5% per annum and Trustee Fees (-) 0.025% per annum to get 3.265 % p.a.
Most banks and fund houses advertise the final post-all-in-expense interest rate, Boost does not... Kindly see: myboost.co/feature/boostmymoney (scroll down, FAQ item 7: What is "Earning Rate"?)
