2% cashback is use for debit card on dec?
*
Not sure. Boost's communication very bad. T&C for new promotion not published in their social media or website.

Even their website still showing the 5% Birthday Jar and 3.6% Savings Jar when already ended on 31 October 2024. Website no mention of this cashback or the promotion they posted today in their Facebook.

The communication and marketing teams very amateur and lousy.

Alright, everything back as usual. Jars open to deposits and withdrawals, no capping yet. Minimum amount to withdraw still RM 1.

Celebration Jar still capped at RM25k max.

When Boost Bank announce the 2% cashback for December tomorrow, I believe there will be a surge in their Debit Card application and if they take longer to process/dispatch the cards, by the time customers receive them, probably mid to end December, end of 2% cashback biggrin.gif

HOWEVER, based on their previous and current promotions, I believe their 2% cashback will come with many T&Cs and limitations, unlike GX Bank's 1% cashback which was pretty straightforward.

Dec 1 is Sunday. So Boost Bank should announce the 2% Cashback details tomorrow.

Hahahahaha what a joke.. capped at RM40 for the whole campaign period which is just for month of December. Basically once you spend Rm2k, that's it.

That is why I know it is too good to be true like GX Bank 1% cashback.

Oh well, RM40 still better than nothing, can buy 2 to 3 coffees!

wow. All special jars closed. Only left celebration jar.

BOOST bank is giving me headache with daily limit 50k to transfer out only.
*
Not only Boost, other commercial banks daily max is also RM50k per day.

When Boost Bank just launched, the daily transfer limit was only RM10k for first two months

Already maxed out my RM40 cashback. So Boost Debit Card will go into storage and then cancel it a month before the annual fee is due next year.

If 3% Savings Jar, then same as Aeon Bank. Aeon Bank app more stable. So better move to Aeon Bank.

I see that Boost extended all the Jars interest to 3.6% for one week until 9 January 2025.

Earlier on it was supposed to end on 2 January 2025.

Could it be some internal technical issues or BNM regulatory requirements?

From this fiasco of the 3.6% being extended for 7 days to 9 January 2025, it is obvious that this 1 week extension is not planned. They probably messed up something somewhere and needed a 1 week extension to fulfill certain requirements, maybe regulatory or their systems was not ready.

From day one since they launched, I observed that Boost Bank is poorly managed, poor communication, execution of new things are poor, systems issues and the list goes on.

My observation so far is GX Bank is no.1, followed by Aeon Bank.

New debit card promotion.

Boost Bank marketing team loves to come up with low popularity promotions.

This is PayNet's promo. Boost just tag along. In fact, you can use any MyDebit card to get the same 10% discount.
*
I see .. so Boost Bank just being cheapskate and tag along whereas other digital banks didn't tag along for free promotion.

Raya Jar
3.3%
7 March until 31 May.

3.3% is for maximum RM25k deposit only.

Have many bad experience with Boost and their app still buggy. So, I would stick with Aeon Bank at 3%.
