Let me help you out. The supermarket jars (also called the Sabah jars, as the supermarkets exist in East Malaysia only, you don't see the stores in West Malaysia) refer to the CKS, Bataras, Farley and Servay jars under the Special Jars tab. Those pay you 4% p.a. right now (down from 5% p.a. in October).

The minimum amount needed to earn 0.01 MYR in daily interest is 0.005*366/0.04 = 45.75 MYR, to earn subsequent 0.01 MYR interests you increase the amount in steps of 91.50 MYR.

Up till now, the interests for the 8 normal jars have been paid. No interest coming in for any of the 6 special jars and the DSA.

Yes, it's pays the same interest rate as the Celebration jar. So it follows the same amount.

So, according to the T&C, you don't spend at the 4 Sabah and Sarawak supermarkets in October, from November onwards you should not be receiving any daily interest and the jars will auto-close. The 60-day limit apply to those who will spend at either of the 4 supermarkets anyhow, but for us "free-riders", our jars are supposed to be deactivated since yesterday and the money should be inside DSA already.

But that's not we witness this morning. Given their lousy IT backend, I think we might get away with this. So, let's just stay quiet...
