If want to buy bto hdb,then maybe only can buy only no gated and guarded single storey house...

He needs to put TIME as a resource, not just money. Is he willing to spend time commuting or not? I for one would pay more if I can stay closer to workplace.

Previously, those who worked in SG needs to go to work at 430am from JB. After work, they'll arrive back home around 1030pm. Imagine leaving home while your kids are still asleep, and only come home just as they're about to go to bed.

Nowadays, things have become more efficient. So you can depart later and come back sooner.

Soon, it will be even more efficient hopefully, with various things in the plan between the two country. So yes, RM650k for a double story house in gated community in JB would probably worth it in the near future.

U mean this house previously sold at 650k but now is 800k?

RTS should have higher effect on housing prices within 5km from it cos now everyone know it will be completed.

All other projects like SEZ, SFZ, HSR near Iskandar Puteri r just in planning so prices up slowly. But if these projects r implemented than prices will shoot up. Can see that our Sultan n PMX want to make this a success.

"The High-Speed Rail (HSR) project would require acquiring a significant amount of land, including oil palm plantations and roadways, a process likely to take at least 5 years.

This would affect regions such as Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Batu Pahat, Muar, and Selangor.

Considering the establishment of a Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) is an interesting idea but not much helpful.

Too many people at morning and afternoon after 4pm.

2 land customs is not enough one.


The Rapid Transit System (RTS) brings in around 10,000 people at a time. To enhance connectivity, introducing water taxis or ferries operating between 4 am - 10 am and 4 pm - 11 pm, similar to Hong Kong (launched in 2021), could be beneficial.

For both customs, ensuring a smooth process with no congestion (less than 1 hour from JB custom to Woodlands custom, including clearance) would contribute to the both countries economy.

Built HSR from jurong east MRT to Forest city island?

Better built RTS like johor bahru custom to woodlands custom.

But just built beside second link bridge enough.

Easy.

I think it is very hard to built the LRT from tuas custom to forest city.

High chance they built a LRT line from Forest city to tanjung kupang custom.

Then build a LRT line from tanjung kupang custom To tuas custom

Need to transfer the HSR line..

Slight change to the ORIGINAL HSR plan, the green color detour. FC=SFZ, duty free island. The HSR will have its own custom like the RTS.
