Just wondering how hard it would be to service / clean / replace engine part (valve / piston / clutch plate) all by myself on Modenas Kriss MR1 ??

By the way I already have experience change or replace engine oil / tyre / brake / horn & starter switch by myself, yeah sure I know engine service / maintenance job is not the same level but I like to DIY if possible.

Sent to a trusted workshop. Ride more, worry less and cheaper.

Funny...no one mentioned trying to get a shop manual for the bike before you start ......

May be the "BEST" manual can usually be found in youtube.

quite easy if you have some mechanical skill.

if you don't need to use the bike anytime soon, then go ahead jer.
worse come to worse, pack all the parts you removed in a sack and bring it over to the workshop and ask them to rebuild hehehe

I got only one bike for transport and job and need it everyday so that's the problem if I got stuck somewhere doing DIY, no backup transport to go retail to buy this or that but can't say I have enough confidence to send my bike to the 2 nearest service shops so let's see how. Currently still looking for good reputation service shop which provide motor for temp use.

By the way mine bike already 10 yrs old and of course losing some say 20% power and consume more fuel since feel months ago so which type of overhaul I should go ?? I heard there are general overhaul and top overhaul.
