Hi guys, I have the Arcadyan AW1000 bought earlier this year running Goldenorb openwrt from 2023, speed test on 2.4ghz wifi and 5ghz wifi respectively yields only 30mbps and 200mbps.
when using Nokia Fastmile same position could go up to 400+ mbps. any idea what could be the issue? |

QUOTE(mhhee @ Mar 11 2025, 01:54 PM) His firmware is not as stable as immortalWRT or ROOter. I tried the last beta before & always has the random reboot or disconnect issue, better wait for more stable release. Until now, I still can't find a NSS build OpenWRT which is stable & good for AW1000. the latest one seems to be ROOter based according to his post. haven’t tested it yet though |

QUOTE(mhhee @ Mar 11 2025, 03:42 PM) Look at the thread & you know his firmware caused bootloop on somebody's AW1000, even for the past firmware. So I think I will skip this, if really keen for NSS build, can try this. tried that before but every now and then need to restart the modem to reconnect.https://github.com/AgustinLorenzo/openwrt/tree/main_nss Better than xHikari, at least working fine but need to manual install those modems 1st. Also, really cannot find the big different for NSS build compared to non in terms of speed, possible less CPU usage but AW1000 is powerful enough to handle my daily usage with 30+ Wi-Fi devices. |
