My fav always Dr Martin, but its not leather though. But if u buy the good, proper MIE one, it will last u a long time. I use my Dr Mart 8 eyes, MIE, since 2012, and still looking fine now.

go campbell, custom the leather shoe to your own feet. the shops there give a very simple guarantee, if they finished making it and you try it's not fitting you comfortably, than you dont need to buy it.

Go to reddit r/AskACobbler and see how many people complain about their Doc Martens plastic coating crack and peel off.

Their "Goodyear welt" is also hard to resole because need to burn the rubber to make them stick.

If you want that style, buy the Made in England version or Solovair.

The ones I bought before are not the shiny leather, the boots and shoes last 10 years easily, usually the heel worn out due to me dragging the feet while walking.

The greasy leather one I had need to be clean with the special cream to keep it solf and supple.

Where were they made? The Vietnam ones seem to be bad.

Why want to wear leather boots? For what occasion?
