Bought RM1k Toshiba adroid TV that comes with 2 years warranty from dealer shop, extended another 3 years for RM289. Now start to think back whether did I make the right move

Extended warranty from 3rd year is under dealer, not manufacturer Toshiba.

Tried clarify with them whether that extended warranty is from Toshiba?

Same like apple care as extended warranty then should be ok.

all those extended warranty is cover by dealer, never brand supplier, unless brand supplier got run their own extended warranty campaign, but unlikely, any extended warranty is a cost to the supllier.
