when i bought my laptop time, they didn't ask to register. instead ask me to keep receipt. then i itchy backside ask them how they know. or how if i lost receipt.

they say is harder if lose receipt. but still can be done cause S/N got follow got record. like Credit card payer name. then can verify with IC. bla bla bla.
