My friend bought her house, few years later the empty land near her house build a surau.

Whats the type of potential buyers should her look out for?

My family got a house in PD, right opposite initially is just kawasan lapang. My next door neighbor (then a high ranking officer at MPPD), wrote letter to apply for a surau to be constructed on the kawasan lapang.

For the past 29 years, the house was never vacant for more than 1 week. Every time a tenant moved out, new tenant within 1 week.

advertise nearby to Surau...... add few more landmarks (99 speedmart, malls, schools etc.) sure sell one

Imagine elderly ppl, use life savings, bought a house, few yrs later, suddenly a new surau built nearby.

Wonder if she drop selling price, can sell?

I was looking at a house I kind of like n price point still possible to get.
But after going around the taman i realized nearby got a big masjid. I decided not to go for it as I am afraid every early morning and evening I would get disturbed by the speakers.
But my muslim colleague say he super liked the location and wanted to stay buy a place there last time due to the masjid.
