Those looking to buy sedan car below rm100k definitely S70 no brainer. Only not for those brand conscious people or those fuel is everything to them.
Those looking for power, ride handling, space, comfort definitely can buy.

Saw the car yesterday and the outward appearance of the car is very nice.

But space is so so only, like vios and city

But quality is top notch la, same like X70 and X50

preve is shit car. power not that powerful due to crap punch cvt. fuel consumption is heavy than civic. its a car of not here nor there.

Btw preve HPF higher rating than this. Dont expect this to perform better when jatuh from bridge or get hit by lorry as compared to preve ya

space is nice I feel not too big. not too small.if too big really want to curse when parking at mall. I always feel want to curse when bring my accord go shopping mall. but when bring my saga, fuh, really easy to park.

manufacturer should make saga/city size but throw all goodies inside. small car got its perks too.

Scare touch screen faulty then die, need physical buttons .

The manual is actually a decently fun car, especially with the Getrag geabox. For the auto, people has been swapping in compatible Mini gearbox in it.

Many people no confident with the after sales warranty spare part if they can improve this I think perodua sales gonna drop.

problm is mechanic in proton, perodua, honda, toyota and all other mechanic in malaysia lousy
cannot service and detect problem and dunno how to fix problem

last time i drove blm that shutdown suddenly while idling and can only restart after shutdown and wait and try again imagine happen in traffic jam

change a few hundred ringgit stuff still not fix

My colleague last year kena accident 2 time driving motor nearly lose his life .1st time accident knock by lorry hand have to put steel inside 2nd time car turn without signal fall down hit the ground knock his head n neck 3 days unconscious.

Prefer Persona, but my friend who owned a Persona has a bad experience with Proton Service (multiple time, part delay, constant breakdown, oil leaking, player not working, window not working blablabla). So I go for Myvi (1 year already no issues, service also fast and on point).

agree. luckily now 2024 already. all car also got own group in fb. and always got 1 or 2 very good technical/mechanic in there doing "part time" there.

sc they will always try their best to make more profit; more hour so can charge higher, try to avoid change/replace if possible. just say OH ITS NORMAL BOSssSsSSsS.

I tested civic, hrv, cross, city, persona, almera, vios, x50, x70, s70, alza, bezza, myvi. Mazda no test because the salesman lansi dun wan layan me see i wear selipar only.

Big NO for me. If I want a 3 cylinder engine, I'd buy a bike and there isn't a Manual Transmission option.

3 cylinders engine are reliable too. See kelisa, viva, kancil, still alive

S70 is more like an extended B segment

back passenger have very slightly more legroom and boot slightly bigger than normal B segment

This video can, because he use statistics to calculate. He calculate the fc manually and show the computer estimates. I think its 15.3km/L when he calculate manually vs 16.6km/L car estimation.

Im driving civic fe. Sama je besar. Centre console tinggi makes it look smaller... But seat thigh support fail. Civic has better contour

Had both Preve better outright acceleration, inspira can't keep up but inspira suspension ride , seat comfort better, cvt better then kotek punch CVT in terms of smoothness . Now I Japan ship and will take me a lot to trust potong again.

Cause one is C segment one is B segment ma. Material grade different

Seat thigh support failed since X70 they never fix. X50 is a joke in thigh support.

proton marketing strategy very good. put this B segment car as a C segment car and boommm almost everyday i see new post in social media people talking about it having debate, comparing it to other segment C and segment B cars. free marketing free advertising. kudos to the proton marketing teams.

It doesn't matter which segment it is, the spec very good for cars price below 100k. if u worry about spare part prices and resale value, this car not for you, this car suitable for people who values comfort and fun but cant afford civic/corolla/ or on a tight budget. for family n budget conscious, alza probably a better choice and better value under 100k.

one tips if u unhappy with proton service center u can lodge a complaint/email to customer service department. that service center will chase after you to close the report. I did it before and then after few round of discussion with service center representative and also service center manager i got free service and money refund.

U think the good ones will work in SC with peanut pay? Lol, they will open their own workshop la dude!
