Since govt had recently announced that no more additional charges to access 5g services for telcos in Malaysia, when Hotlink gonna enable 5g access for those postpaid plan that 60 and below?

Via Hotlink app u can subscribe yourself, there's a banner.

Should be automatic from day 1.

No subsequent payment. Just activate and it will be renew for free monthly.

Suddenly this morning saw my Maxis Postpaid 60 running on 5G, I didn't even activate it. Any one here experience this ?

Glad you had it automatically switch on 5g for your device.
Myself had to manually subscribe to enable 5g access.

Just received this SMS regarding 5G quota on my Hotlink postpaid.



And the website in the SMS shows this.
So looks like the new hotlink postpaid plans will have 5G enabled by default.

They just announced new plan for Hotlink Postpaid..

No more RM40 plan for whole malaysia (There is this Borneo plan at RM40 not to confuse with)

Anyone using Hotlink Postpaid 40? My wife Hotlink apps doesn't show anything about 5G to subscribe for the 5G pass.

I didn't get any free data upgrade for postpaid 40 plan.

I'm currently under postpaid 40 plan.
But previously I had enquiry in this forum and few forumers had helped me by manual sub 5g service via hotlink app.
I believed it's auto sub 5g service starting 18th Jan for all hotlink postpaid plan.
As of today, I can't find the sub 5g icon in the hotlink app.

New postpaid 45 plan by extra RM 5 entitled additional 30gb 5g data on top existing 30gb data.
Seems more value than postpaid 40 plan which got 30gb total data only.

Using 40 still and they give some loyalty and monthly free quota also as of now

Also roughly 60GB / month

My current data 30gb plus free additional 5gb data. Total 35gb data.
I'm using this plan for the 4th month as of now.

Mine total 50gb/month. Free 5gb+loyalty 15gb.

My experience after 1 year only they give loyalty 15gb. Otherwise just free 5gb on top of the 30gb data.
