It doesn't, this is an issue with my S23U, but I haven't have any issue with S24U with mag rings. The NFC location is different so it's not blocked by magnets anymore

And since it normally takes around 2 years to get the green line i would say perhaps this time its really a lemon unit from the factory meaning manufacturing defect

Im not sure how it got pass samseng qc but perhaps its one of those made in vietnam india pakistan unit...

This is absolutely a hardware defect from samseng

Updating itself only indirectly cause it bcus it generates heat during updating hence some pipu got the hreen line after updating

I read somewhere that it affect samseng panel from 2019-2022

Meaning all phone using samseng panel will hav it unfortunately

This include apple oneplus xiaomi vivo oppo etc that use samseng panel

right now its still function...No green line only power volume button spoils home button still works and a lot of new app won't work anymore and lag after 11 years

This the reason i decided to buy the highest 1tb s24 ultra as i plan to use for many years at minimum 7 yrs

But if the qc drop until green line issue still is not fixed for so many years

I really do hope competition like boe tcl will teach this samseng a lesson it would not recover from lol

funny cauz they refer to the spec link to their site which LISTS Wifi BE there which is essentially wifi 7 
But they say malaysia is only wifi 6e.

So i am assuming this is not a hardware issue cause it's using a snapdragon which has wifi7 capability. So we merely need a firmware update is it? Does anyone know anything about this or when we can expect a fix 

this guy ChewyBites, he has been reporting on wifi6e and 6GHz not working on samsung until it worked recently (wifi 6e and 6GHz working finally since late March 2024)

On my end i can confirm wifi6e works on Samsung S24 Ultra (malaysia version). But wifi7 still not working.

Not sure why but it says i am connected via 320 MHz (which should be a wifi7 only), not sure is it a bug or what.
based on Chewy's feedback SG had wifi6e a full year before Malaysia. So i am assuming wifi7 is gonna take a whole year before it gets enabled through some sort of firmware update hopefully

But S23 also probably got some of the AI shit if I'm not mistaken, Samsung has already updated S23 Ultra with some of the AI features
Also, I've checked out both phones. S23U got the curved sides at the screen, not a fan of it whereas S24U is totally flat. I prefer flat one. Wanna install screen protector still would be cheaper and easier to find.
Although installing screen protector on the S24U seems stupid cuz then it'll lose the anti-glare/anti-reflection feature. But I watch some youtube reviews, the screen still seems to be able to be scratched.
Wonder how do the reviewers use the phones.

Yeah.. one thing to consider too. S23U is already going to be 2 yo soon, already less  2 years of support and security support.
S24U still consider new, plus now they said they will provide 7 years of support.
I think these phones can last a long time now, heck even my A71 4G (bought 2020 Nov) has lasted until now, only replaced screen once and battery seems to be slowly dying.
so flagship should be way longer lasting right?
