did you set whatsapp to never sleep? i never had any issues since gotten my s24 ultra a month ago.

check your whatsapp app info > battery > see what setting. if its set to optimized it should be fine. try unrestricted see if still got issues but mine is on optimized, never had issues.

mrwhoistheboss is the legit one. the other guy didnt use a brand new s24 ultra - he used the version that he had since s24 ultra launch day - of course the battery already had few charge cycles surely the battery life worse...not a fair test already...

mrwhoistheboss version instead as his video states - all are brand new phones, so that the comparison is then fair.

take note S24U has one key feature that other S24/S24+ and S23U doesnt have - the screen is 75% anti-reflective - very useful outdoors.

because tech gadgets are commodity like gold, some sell kidney to buy these things..and many buy things they cannot afford so need microloans to satisfy their wants.

Personally i never buy gadgets with loans. If no money, dont buy that gadget or buy a cheaper one like if phone just buy basic one if no money.

if you dont mind only get 4 years software updates + 5 years security for S23 series VS 7 years for software + security on S24, go with S23 Ultra.

I would rather u consider S24 Ultra instead for 1 good reason: 75% less reflection due to coating on the screen - make it very visible outdoors, removes most of reflections on the display.

4H SOT about 50% - not good neough? Means can go around 8H or close to it by the time finish battery.

mine tap screen in camera it will show up the circle + lock and then the sun symbol - swipe left/right to control exposure - same as before - not sure why you say need to long press to get exposure? are you in normal photo mode or expert mode?

enter playstore - no. making payment - might be due to playstore setting on payment.

never encounter. can show screenshot? that's new and unusual...why would you need a password to update apps?

if its that same dialog from reddit thread - mine doesnt show up cos i setup biometics already long time ago. i think its google play store issue so other android devices should face same issue if you never setup biometics on play store before

for S24U best not to buy those cheap SP/TG - it affects the anti-reflective coating on it. Good one should still be OK.

i would agree but hope this doesnt happen to us in future...actually it can happen on newer galaxy phones too just that they're more likely to do proper testing. this one just lack of testing/coverage to cover something as "old" as galaxy s10, etc.

if you keeping the phone for long - got with 512GB...256 still OK but need to rely on cloud storage a lot if u record videos and takes lots of photos
