I was going to take it when I had my 2nd round of COVID, but the nearest KKM klinik was out of stock. So I was too lazy to go to the next klinik, and just waited it out.

If I got COVID the 3rd round, I will go and take it and share the experience.

Should the onset sympton is getting lesser comparable to your 1st and 2nd covid positive sympton, I recommend you to let your body antibodi fight the virus.

COVID is getting complicated and its variants get evolve from time to time. The world lost the precious opportunity to stemdown the patient zero due to China arrogant.

Secondly alot of medical researchers and doctors puzzle with the current situation with China which consider top red alert level. China claimed combination of pneumonia alike sympton arise from virus and bacteria infections. If it from bacteria infections, antibiotics will handle it but in this case it doesn't work. I saw in a youtube channel that a researcher said China has been abusing antibiotics since the COVID19 started few years ago. Therefore there is high probability some of bacteria already develope high resistance to antibiotics.

For my 2nd infection, I only had slight sore throat and lethargic on day 01.

I was fine in the following day. That's why I didnt bother to get Paxlovid. It was worse during my 1st infection.

if apple mindset/zero problems @affordability, by all means. Understand it isn't the best, or the first, at what it claims it does. And this has been discussed to the death many times over a long while back.

Its a 3a4 and hiv protease inhibitor, namely blocks 3cl/mpro

Now, if one were to bind to cys-145, (with NAC, lets say) an active site for mpro, it also has the effect of inhibiting replication etc etc.

Of course back then, no-one knew nuttin, but panic bulk buying nac the moment Biden rescheduled it as a medication, today, it is one of the few medications approved for the treatment of covid, costing like, what, tree fiddy and does (on multiple papers) everything and more vs rm2700

Just take the damn vaccine, enough said.

Cucuk 5 or 6 doses liao still take Paxlovid. Have you ever seen such a safe and effective vaccine?

people without risk factors for severe COVID-19 are unlikely to benefit from taking Paxlovid. The serious COVID-19 complications it is designed to prevent—namely hospitalization and death—are already rare among people who are young and healthy

I said this more than 3 years ago, kena cop antivax.

Good business, repeat customer modal, nice, let them be.

I don't mind, as long as they:
- Don't enforce it
- Use our tax money to subsidize it
- Blame the un-vaccinated covid folk
- Or worst, create a vaccine passport that works similar as social score.

It gave quick relief to my parents when they got hit with covid during the early years.

Besides, you can only get it from KKM if you qualify. I remember the base pricing was RM3000 back in the day.

RM3000? Wow!

For Malaysian senior citizens and high risk categories, it was free. At first you can only get it in selected KKM clinics but I think later in the pandemic even private facilities can give it.

Pity the Americans.

I agree with all of the above.

Also, make people pay for the COVID vaccines, then see how many still want boosters?

I thought paxlovid only given to high risk people & KKM will decide if we need it? Or am I wrong?

Suka hati anyone can go & get it?

You have mild or moderate symptoms and not high risk no need to bother with this la

If you're adamant, go private?

Good, same here.

I'm also trying my best not to rely on any medication.

Long list of side effect, scary...
