ppl said non-runny or somewhat thick thermal paste works best on direct-die (most laptop). or even honeywell thermal pads.

i personally have used NTH1 & MX-5 on my laptop but i dont see any difference in temperature compared to stock thermal paste (dell).

just pick any good and cheap thermal paste will do the job. some differences are probably within margin of error.
