I can't give you any suggestion, because every individual preference also different. Some can take more risk, while some prefer slow but steady.

traded crypto and the 24/7 experience is horrible

Start with a small sum first. I suggest you look into klsescreener. Maybe can follow some discussions inside.

if u want to trade only shariah-compliant stocks, mplus. if u want to trade all including haram stock, other brokers can. just that some charge u rm8 brokerage. some rm40 brokerage

I beg to differ. To certain extent, yes if you are trading some bad fundamental stock.if you are buying good quality companies with dividend paying, everyone win.

that's more applicable to crypto, good companies actually make real profit that help to justify the share price.
