Yes, its a bit old resort hotel type, but very well maintained and managed. The huge room size is probably because the patio is 1/3 of the size.
Kidding aside, it was a decent room, with decent pool.
But what made an impression was the breakfast duty manager. He was really one of those manager who walks fast, checked everything that came out of the kitchen and gave the servers a hard time. Its rare to find those kind of passion in the service industry these days.
During my stay, there were a few units booked by Korean tourists, so that morning the breakfast had some korean dishes including kimchi. I think its good that the resort was very accommodating to cater to their guests, however small the group was.
One of my most pleasant stay, had wanted to come back there again, but there wasn't much else to do around there. Plus, its a little in a distance from the main JB town area.
