 why Malaysian buy Perodua cars?

Proton no longer byword for safety like during DSZ time. Cheapest Proton with ADAS is 90k, even Honda is cheaper.

Don't forget in the case of X50 Proton had to reengineer a lot of parts to pass crash test.

Its fairly priced and reliable. Or some would say cheap. I can drive one until its wheels falls off. It never fails to start unless battery is kong. I like perodua's small car. Nice and quirky. The only thing that comes close is a 4x4 in terms of value and pricing due to excise/tax structure

for malaysia not really useful.as those system can be overriden by sohai driving behavior. and mostly malaysian drive like sohai if they in the seat of myvi

What so ever lie ahead, it doesn't effect B40 car choice. P2 still lowest in selling price in Malaysia.
